PowerPacks and Shoes
 One pastor told us his church had twice the attendance the day after he held their back-to-school outreach..
We recently held our backpack and shoe evangelism outreach. Several local donors, suburban churches, and Campus Crusade’s headquarters pitched in to supply us with over 300 backpacks and school supplies. We gave them out to 7 churches and ministries. [Additionally, we helped get 3 churches to do their own outreaches. They gave out more than 500!]
 One mother was in tears. She had just lost her job and had no money for shoes or school supplies. Another was in tears when she found out there were no strings attached — so she brought her family to church that Sunday.
 PowerPacks and shoes are just two of the tools offered by Here's Life Inner City to connect churches and ministries to the poor in their neighborhoods and to enfold them into their churches. Connecting is part of our strategy we call the Circle of Hope. The other parts are Empowering and Developing.
