Here’s Life Inner City began in New York City 26 years ago, when the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, Dr. Bill Bright, believed that Campus Crusade had a scriptural mandate to fulfill God’s compassionate concern for the less fortunate.  After much research and interviews with inner city pastors in major cities, Dr. Bright commissioned Here's Life Inner City to fulfill that calling.

For the past 26 years Here's Life has not only remained true to Dr. Bright's vision, but has remained committed to serving those whom society has often forgotten.

Today, Here’s Life Inner City serves 130 inner city churches and ministries throughout New York City, with a vision to see wildly successful churches throughout every needy area of NYC. Here's Life has also expanded to 14 cities across the U.S.
